Demand for ABS in Southeast Asia has been soft over the past several weeks as buyers are unable to transfer the rapid hike in raw material costs to end-products selling prices.
While the price adjustment reflects the general market trend, sources said that the actual transactions in the distribution market are at much higher levels.
