China’s PVC market mounted a firmer rebound across both domestic and export segments in the week ending 23 October 2026, shaking off two weeks of sluggish post-Golden Week adjustments as widening production cuts and firmer upstream crude oil prices tightened prompt supply availability.
PP and LLDPE futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) opened sharply higher on Friday alongside firmer crude oil before paring gains slightly by midday, still holding above Thursday's levels and lifting overall auction clearance at Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co. from 95.3% to 98.2%.
