China's Shaoxing shutdown PP units on technical issues

According to market sources, Zhejiang Shaoxing Sanyuan Petrochemical Co Ltd is planning to take its PDH-based PP units off-stream after some mechanical problems occurred at the granulator yesterday.

Zhejiang Shaoxing owns two PP units at the Zhejiang petrochemical complex with total capacity of 500,000 tons/year. The plant is expected to be shut from 5 May and initial expectation calls for 4-6 days offline.
