China's Levima to shut PP plant for turnaround

According to market sources, Levima Advanced Materials Co Ltd (Lianhong) is planning to shut its PP plant for a scheduled maintenance by beginning of October 2017.

Based in Shandong, China, the PP plant has a production capacity of 200,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 40 days. Meanwhile, its methanol-to-olefin (MTO) plant with 170,000 tons/year of ethylene and 200,000 tons/year of propylene is also going to shut within the same period.
