China's Ningbo Fortune to startup new PDH and PP plants

According to market sources, Ningbo Fortune Petrochemical Co Ltd (Fuji), a subsidiary of Oriental Energy Co Ltd (Dong Hua), is planning to fully startup its new PDH and PP units by end of October 2016, and on-spec cargoes are expected to be out by next month.

Located at Ningbo Daxie Development Park, Ningbo, China, the company has a 660,000 tons/year PDH unit and a 400,000 tons/year PP unit. The PP plant is planning to produce PP raffia grade (S1003), BOPP film grade (F1002B), textile grade (S2040), fiber grade (S2025), and copolymer-PP (K8003, K4912). In addition, the company will have another 660,000 tons/year PDH unit which will be started up later for the second phase, whereby the date is to be confirmed.
