China's Hanwha Ningbo to shut PVC and VCM for maintenance

Market sources reported that Hanwha Chemical (Ningbo) Co Ltd is planning for a scheduled turnaround for its VCM and PVC units by December 2016.

Based in Ningbo, China, the company has a VCM and PVC unit each with a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year. The PVC unit is expected to remain off-stream for a week, meanwhile 10-15 days for VCM. A source closed to the company informed that the exact date of turnaround remain unconfirmed at the moment.
