Local producer lifts LLDPE offers in Indonesia, maintain other grades unchanged
Indonesian customers reported having received a fresh price list from a major local producer with a $20/ton hike on LLDPE cargoes compared to last week, which comes as a surprise considering the steep price reduction recorded in the distribution market.

Market players said that the increases do not reflect the real demand condition in the local ground claiming that sentiment here remains sluggish even though the government started to ease the lockdown measures.
“Buyers would not accept the increases because, in the distribution market, traders continue to cut prices. The market is weak. It might take a couple more months for demand to show visible improvement,” a market source said.
