Indonesian producer rollovers PVC prices to the local market for May

It is reported that a major local producer in Indonesia has opened May delivery offers for PVC in the local Indonesia market at unchanged levels from the previous month at $1585/ton to traders and $1635/ton to manufacturers, all excluding VAT, FD Indonesia term.

The initial response from the market is not strong, partially due to the holiday mood ahead of the fast-approaching Ramadan holiday, while players await new price announcement from major international suppliers, which is expected to see sharp reductions. 

“There have been market talks that new import offers might drop by three digits in value due to the diminishing demand in India market, hence we prefer to wait as falling international market would pressure the local ground,” a buyer added.
