China's Zhenhai delay maintenance at PE plant on healthy profit

It is reported that Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company has decided to postpone the maintenance shutdown at its PE plant in China by one and a half month from the initial schedule due to the healthy profit margins recently.

The HDPE/LLDPE swing line was originally slated to go offline at the beginning of April 2021 but adjourned to second half of May 2021.

The 450,000 tons/year swing line will remain shut for two weeks.
