Local producer lifted PE offers in Indonesia, keep PP unchanged
A major local producer in Indonesia has announced a fresh PP and PE price list to local buyers with increases on PE cargoes while maintaining PP offers unchanged from the previous week.

The stabilizing PP offers once again highlights the lack of purchasing interest among local customers for this grade after prices hit historically high levels. As reported earlier, the distribution market has already started to lower spot offers since late last week to smoothen the sales process.
In contrast, PE remains supported by the lack of supply globally after the winter storm forced mass shutdown in the USA. Yet, demand for PE is no better than PP in Indonesia, according to market sources.
