Local Indonesian producer adjusted PP, PE prices list for the third time this week
After announcing two upward price adjustments on the first trading day of the week, a major Indonesian producer decided to further increase PP prices while keeping PE unchanged today, marking the third hike this week.
The producer’s latest price list and changes from the previous announcement are shown in the following table:

The local homo-PP market in Indonesia is now at the highest levels since CommoPlast started tracking the prices in this market in 2015 while HDPE and LLDPE film are at the highest levels since November 2018.
On a positive note, transactions appear better than the previous day for both PP and PE cargoes, as small-scale buyers decided to purchase additional cargoes in view of the persistent firming trend.
