Crude oil settled lower on Monday

After an impressive rally seen late last week, the downward pressure resumed on Monday on concern over slow down in Chinese demand and news that Iraq's output reached a record high last month. Besides, Saudi Arabia has signaled that it would push forward with energy development work without cutting back production.

WTI closed at   $30.34 (-$1.85)

Brent closed at $30.50 (-$1.68)
