Local producer continues lifting PP prices in Indonesia, keeps PE unchanged
Indonesian players reported having received fresh PP and PE offers from a major local producer with additional increases on PP cargoes due to tight availability while maintaining PE prices unchanged from the previous week.

The contrast development between PP and PE market underlines the demand and supply condition in two sectors in Indonesia at the moment. “However, the hike in PP prices severely hurts our profit margins. We are not planning to make additional replenishment,” a buyer said.
