Domestic PVC offers in India surged following international trend

It is reported that a major local producer in India has implemented a substantial increase in spot PVC offers to the domestic market following the trend in the import ground. The latest price list registered INR4,000/ton ($54/ton) from the previous price announcement.

Trading activities in India remain healthy as buyers preparing stocks ahead of the long holiday in November while supply from the international market tightened.

“Sentiment is likely to remain strong in the near term. Supply remains tight in both local and import ground, therefore, buyers have no choice but to accept the hike to secure the needed materials for production,” a trader added.
