Indonesian producer continues lifting local PP and PE offers
A major domestic producer in Indonesia has opened fresh weekly PP and PE offers with additional increases from the previous week on the back of tighter availability. The price hike underlines the fact that suppliers are shrugging off the appreciation of the local currency against the US dollar and the growing resistance from buyers.

“End product business is not recovering quickly enough to cover the raw material replacement costs. Buyers are not responding very positively toward the latest price list. At this pace, the upside of the market is getting narrower,” a trader explained.
