Local producer down adjusted PP and PE prices on the exchange rate in Indonesia
Indonesian buyers on the first trading day of the week receive fresh PP and PE offers from a major local producer with minor reductions from the previous week as a result of the strengthening the Rupiah against the US dollar.

While the price list appears very competitive against the import cargoes, local buyers reported having received even lower offers from the distribution market. At the moment, there are very limited changes in terms of purchasing activities.
“Sentiment remains soft despite the fact that local producers have depleted a good quantity to China market in the previous weeks. We are open to negotiation with serious buyers,” a trader said.
