Indonesian producer continues cutting local PP and PE prices

A major Indonesian producer has announced fresh PP and PE offers to the local market with an additional reduction from last week despite the mild depreciation of the Rupiah against the US dollar.

Despite the fact that the latest price list records a smaller reduction week-on-week, local traders still express the disappointment citing the weaker Rupiah should have supported the prices.
Meanwhile, LLDPE film cargoes in the distribution market continued to transact at well below the price list, which discourages any interest in import materials at the moment.
