A major domestic producer in Indonesia once again implement a drastic price cut for both PP and PE amid persistently weak demand condition in the country.

The cuts emerge despite the low inventory level inside Indonesia due to a couple of production issues at local PP and PE plants.
“Sluggish demand has overshadowed the supply tightness condition. Looking forward, we hope that customers would return to the local ground for replenishment as BMDTP allocation for 2019 is completing,” a local trader commented.
