A major Thailand producer has announced fresh PE offers to China on the first trading day after the weeklong National Day holiday at stable to softer levels.

Market response is not very positive and according to a source close to the producer, and there are no deals concluded at the time this report is published.
“The market is rather quiet. Customers are taking time to assess the situation before jumping into new purchases. We think in the immediate term, buyers might need to look for alternative sources of material to compensate for the canceled or delayed shipment from Saudi Arabia,” a producer source said.
