Major Thai maker lift LLDPE offers to China

Market players in China reportedly received additional USD10/ton hike from a major maker from Thailand for LLDPE today, reaching USD890/ton compared to initial offers early of the week, meanwhile HDPE film remain stable at USD925/ton level, both at a LC at sight, CFR China basis.

A source from the producer informed that they have lower sales pressure of LLDPE and due to slight rebound trend of both futures and spot market in China these two days, they try to stand firmer stance on their offers to reflect the trend. However, Chinese traders commented that firmer import prices this week attract limited buying activities from customers, as most of the deals have achieved since last week and approaching Mid-Autumn festival holiday, buyers tend to be cautious approaching end of the week.
