Local producer in Indonesia slashes spot offers further on timid demand
It is reported that a major local producer in Indonesia has announced fresh weekly PP and PE prices with an additional reduction from last week, especially for LLDPE, which plunged steeply.

A number of buyers have procured some PE cargoes in the previous week started to feel the pinch as new offers nosedive today. Sources believed that there is still room for further reduction in the coming day, especially with local traders race to cut loses in line with new import arrival.
“It becomes very challenging for overseas sellers to target Indonesia market for HDPE and LLDPE film. We are waiting on the sideline at the moment and would only purchase a small quantity to meet the immediate need,” a buyer said.
