Thai producer introduced another price cut on PE to China
A major Thailand producer has reportedly reduced import PE offers to China for the third week in a row amid persistently weak demand condition.

There have been reports that the producer agreed to another $10/ton discount on LLDPE film cargoes to conclude deals for a few thousand tons at $925/ton CFR China, LC AS term, which is not subjected to the 6.5% import duties.
Sources said that unlike LLDPE film, demand for other grades remains relatively sluggish and price negotiation is very intense.
