Thai’s PE move another notch down in China

A major Thailand producer has announced fresh weekly PE offers to China with additional reduction amid lacking purchasing interest.

The general purchasing interest in China is rather weak as buyers decided to wait and see on the sideline following the plunge in the upstream costs and local market. 

“Customers are not eager in placing bids, too. Sentiment is very heavy here, especially following two consecutive days of falling futures market. This week is a short trading week due to the Dragon Boat Festival. We are considering some discounts to encourage activities,” a producer source said.
