Saudi maker down adjusted June shipment PE prices to Vietnam
A day after announcing June shipment offers to Vietnam with reduction, a major Saudi Arabia producer decided to step back on the price list by additional $20-30/ton in order to speed up sales process ahead of the Ramadan holiday.

Even with LLDPE film prices below the $1000/ton threshold, it does not appear that Vietnamese buyers are eager to make fresh replenishment. “We managed to sell a small quantity. Market sentiment remains sluggish even with the additional discount,” a distributor commented.
Meanwhile, the producer has yet to adjust the PP prices, but buyers are expecting similar range of price cut.
