Major local maker announces new PP, PE offers in Indonesia
It is reported that a major local producer in Indonesia has announced fresh weekly PP and PE offers to local buyers. The latest price lists see $10/ton increased in PP prices following the firming trend in the import offers while PE remains unchanged from last week.

Despite the fact that the General Election has completed, but demand in Indonesia remains very much below expectation. “We are not sure if end product buyers would accept the hike. Demand for woven bag is rather weak this year,” a buyer said.
However, suppliers maintain firm stance citing the supply tightness condition and that buyers would gradually accept the new prices.
