It is reported that a major local Indonesian producer has announced fresh weekly price list with $5-10/ton reduction for PP while PE prices slightly firmer compared to last week.

Sentiment in Indonesia is rather soft on the first trading day of the week and buyers are not responding very positively toward the latest offers. Sources claim that distributors are still selling at well below the price list, which might put pressure on the producer.
“Import non-dutiable homo-PP prices are firmer than last week, and if more increases are materialised in the coming days, then local distribution market would become more competitive. We are on the wait and see now,” a source added.
