Another Saudi Arabia producer has announced fresh PP and PE offers to Southeast Asia market for December shipment with up to three digits reduction in value from last month.

It is important to note that BOPP is still not available due to the persistent technical issues at one of the PP lines. Sources close to the producer informed that the line might be able to come back online in January 2019 if the spare-part is ready.
“There is no homo-PP yarn, too. Quantity available for injection grade is also limited. Our customers are asking for at least $30/ton discount on HDPE and LLDPE film at the moment. We need to wait for the feedback from the principal supplier,” a distributor informed.
