Emergency shutdown at China's CSPC PP plant
According to market sources, CNOOC and Shell Petrochemical Co Ltd (CSPC) (Phase II) has unexpectedly shut its PP plant today due to technical glitches.
Based in Guangzhou, China, the PP plant has an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 4-5 days.
