South Korea's LG Chem to restart cracker by month-end
Market sources reported that LG Chem is planning to restart its naphtha-fed steam cracker by 30 November 2018 after scheduled maintenance.
Based in Yeosu, South Korea, the cracker is able to produce 1 million tons/year of ethylene and 550,000 tons/year of propylene. The cracker has been shut since end of October 2018 for a planned turnaround.
