GIATPI Seminar: Members show high acceptance for NSRP material

GIATPI (Indonesia Woven Polyolefin Manufacturers Association) in collaboration with OPEC Plastics and Starlinger organizes a seminar here in Jakarta on 16 November 2018 to discuss the new materials, technologies and possible outlook in the coming year. 

As part of the seminar, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical (NSRP) briefly introduce the material from the new plant in Vietnam that started during mid of 2018. Members of the association, who are mostly making woven bags, show a relatively good response to the material in term of quality.

When asked if NSRP could maintain the competitiveness when it comes to prices moving forward, a representative from OPEC Plastics – an authorized distributor for NSRP advised members of the association to watch-out for non-dutiable cargoes in 2019, which might be better priced than dutiable origin amid more start-up.
