According to market sources, Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its coal-based PP and PE plant last night due to technical glitches.
Based in Shanxi, China, the company has a MTO-based PP and PE plant with a production capacity of 400,000 ton/year and 300,000 tons/year respectively. The restart schedule could not be ascertained.
