Saudi's NATPET shutdown complex after fire

A fire broke out at Saudi Arabia’s National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET) on 2 October killed one and injured eleven others. The initial investigation suggested that the fire was caused by technical factors related to the industrial processes.
NATPET has shut the petrochemical complex following the fire. It is unclear on the impact of the incident on the production and it is unclear on how long the plant needs to remain off-line.
NATPET owns a 400,000 tons/year PP unit at this site.
