Emergency shutdown at China's Zhongjing PP plant

According to market sources, China Soft Packaging Group (Zhongjing Petrochemical) has unexpectedly shut its Phase I PP plant by 19 September 2018 due to technical glitches.

Located at Fujian, China, the unit has a production capacity of 350,000 ton/yea of PP. A source closed to the company informed that the plant are expecting to restart after back from Mid-Autumn festival next week. Its 350,000 tons/year Phase II PP plant is still operating regularly at the moment.
