LyondellBasell US shut cracker for expansion

According to market sources, LyondellBasell Industries N. V. has shut its Corpus Christi cracker yesterday for expansion.

Located in Texas, United States, the cracker has a production capacity for ethylene of 771,000 ton/year and it is expected to reach 1.134 million ton/year after expansion. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 75 days.
