China's Shenhua Baotou shuts coal-based PP, PE plants for maintenance
Market sources reported that Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co has shut its coal-based PP and PE plants for maintenance by beginning of September 2018.
Based in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China, the 300,000 tons/year PP plant has been shut by 1 September 2018 and 300,000 tons/year of HDPE/LLDPE plant has been shut by 3 September 2018, both plants are expected to remain off-stream for 20 days.
