Russia's Kazanorgsintez to shut HDPE/LLDPE plant for turnaround

According to market sources, Kazanorgsintez, a subsidiary of TAIF Group is planning to shut its HDPE/LLDPE plant by late September for scheduled maintenance.

Based in Russia, the plant has a production capacity of 510,000 tons/year. It will remain off-stream for about a month. Meanwhile, its 230,000 tons/year LDPE plant is currently offline due to unrevealed reason and the restart schedule could not be ascertained.
