Saudi maker concluded September PE business in Vietnam with discount

After announcing September shipment offers for PE to Vietnam earlier this week with $20/ton reduction on HDPE film and $10/ton increased on LLDPE film, a major Saudi maker has decided on the final prices just before player leave for the National day holiday. 

Concluded prices see another $30/ton reduction on HDPE film cargoes to $1300/ton and $20/ton on LLDPE film to $1140-1150/ton, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

“We only take a small quantity since the maker is having limited allocation stemming from the production issues. Our previous purchases have not arrived in August due to the same problem. We hope to receive the material before the festive season end,” a local trader commented.
