Thai maker stepped back on PE offers to China, no LLDPE film available

A major Thailand producer reportedly stepped back on PE offers to China this week after the effort to lift offers in the previous week bumped into stiff resistance. The reductions mostly focus on HDPE and LDPE cargoes, while no LLDPE film quantity available this week.

The following table showed the producer’s latest offers and week-on-week changes.

“We are collecting bids from buyers at the moment and have not decided on the final prices. Purchasing interest is a little weaker. Due to the planned shutdown, we are not having large quantity,” a source close to the producer informed.
