Statistics: Import LLDPE, LDPE to China dropped sharply in July

Import LLDPE and LDPE arrivals to China in July witnessed a sharp decrease of 9.5% and 10.12% respectively, according to the latest data from the Chinese Custom Department. Import figures for LLDPE might change in August, sources commented, following strong purchasing interest for this grade.

In the meantime, import quantity for HDPE remains resilient with a minor increase from June, but not as strong as compared to a couple of months earlier when arrival quantity stood above the 600,000 tons mark.
