Major Thai maker announced new PE offers to China

Market players in China reportedly received fresh offers from a major Thai producer today with slightly firmer offers for HDPE and softer offers for LLDPE as compared to last week.

The producer’s latest price list and changes are shown in the following table:

A trader commented, “Our supplier seems no pressure on their HDPE cargoes, however stepped back on their LLDPE offers this week due to weaker domestic and futures market recent days. We are still waiting for feedback from customers, however responses from the market are rather slow.”
