Emergency shutdown at China's Sinopec Sichuan Petrochemical complex

According to market sources, Sinopec Sichuan Petroleum Company has experienced leakage at its natural gas pipeline this afternoon, causing supply glut on the upstream, whereby the company is planning to shut the whole petrochemical complex by today.
Based in Sichuan, China, the company is able to produce 450,000 tons/year of PP, 300,000 tons/year of HDPE and 300,000 tons/year of LLDPE. The restart scheduled could not be ascertained.
