Taiwan's Formosa to bring forward restart schedule of No. 1 cracker

Market sources reported that Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPC) is planning to resume its No. 1 cracker by 13-14 July 2018 after a planned turnaround.

Based in Mailiao, Taiwan, the cracker is able to produce 700,000 tons/year of ethylene, 350,000 tons/year of propylene and 109,000 tons/year of butadiene. It has been shut since 5 June for maintenance and initial restart schedule was set at 17 July 2018.
