China imposed retaliatory tariffs on imports from the USA

The Chinese government has announced its hit back on imports from the USA in an escalated trade tension between the two countries. Trade officials released the first list of USA products that will be subjected to 25% tariffs starting 6 July. The list covers 545 American products, including soybeans, electric vehicles, a range of hybrid electric vehicles, a variety of seafood and pork that worth USD34 billions.
On the second list, another 114 US goods face the same tariff, yet no implementation date was announced. Crude oil, diesel and petrochemical products are enlisted here.
Following table shows the USA’s petrochemical products that are subjected to 25% tariffs at a later date.
