USA's ExxonMobil to achieve on-spec production at new cracker

Market sources reported that ExxonMobil Chemical is planning to achieve on-spec production at its new steam cracker earliest by late June 2018.

Based in Baytown, Texas, United States, the ethane cracker has a production capacity of 1.5 million tons/year, which is expected to provide feedstock to the company’s both new 650,000 tons/year PE plant in Mont Belvieu, which started up on Q4 last year.
