Force majeure at USA's Total copolymer-PP plant

Market sources reported that Total Petrochemicals and Refining USA has declared a force majeure on its impact copolymer PP plant in its letter. The company attributed the force majeure toward a series of unplanned and external events which have impacted the production levels.

Based in La Porte, Texas, the facility has a PP capacity of 1.224 million tons/year. The company will implement an allocation program on associated shipments starting 11 June 2018.
