Unplanned shutdown at Japan's JXTG cracker

Market sources reported that JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy is planning to shut its cracker due to unexpected technical issue on 8 June 2018.
Based in Kawasaki, Japan, the cracker is able to produce 448,000 tons/year of ethylene, 273,000 tons/year of propylene and 70,000 tons/year of butadiene. The cracker is expected to remain off-stream for about 10 days.
