Emergency shutdown at China's Pucheng PP plant

According to market sources, Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its coal-based PP plant since last weekend (20 May 2018).

Based in Shanxi, China, the company has a MTO-based PP plant with a production capacity of 400,000 ton/year, the reason for shutdown still pending for inspection, most probably due to technical issues, meanwhile the plant has undergoes unexpected brief maintenance on 6-14 May 2018 previously.
