Domestic producer lifted PE offers in Indonesia, maintaining PP prices

It is reported that a major domestic producer in Indonesia has announced fresh PP and PE offers on the first trading day of the week. The latest price list indicated $10/ton increased on all PP cargoes while PE remained unchanged compared to last Friday.  

The producer’s latest price list and changes are shown in the following table:

Indonesian buyers started adopting a more cautious stance as a series of bombing in major cities of Surabaya and Semarang are raising great concern. “Demand might weaken in the near term and therefore we prefer to take cautious stance,” a trader said.
