China's CNPC Jilin Petrochemical shuts PE plants for turnaround
Market sources reported that CNPC Jilin Petrochemical Company has shut both of its LLDPE and HDPE plant for a scheduled maintenance.
Based in Jilin, China, the company’s 300,000 tons/year HDPE plant has been shut since 5 May and its 275,000 tons/year LLDPE plant shut starting today. Both plants are expected to remain off-stream for 40 days, and resume by around mid of June 2018.
