DowDuPont achieved full operations rate for its new LDPE plant in Q1 2018

Market sources repoted that DowDuPont has announced that its new LDPE plant has successfully came online during first quarter of 2018 during a conference call on 3 May 2018.
Based in Plaquemine, Louisiana, United States, the LDPE lant has a production capacity of 350,000 tons/year. The company claimed to have ramped up to full production rates and products have been available in the market.
Meanwhile, the company also announced that its new 200,000 tons/year Nordel metallocene ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and 320,000 tons/year high melt index specialty and conventional polyolefin elastomers are under well progress. In addition, its 125,000 tons/year bimodal gas phase debottlenecking on the same site are expected to be completed by mid of the year.
